Contracts, Tenders and Rebates Specialist- 12 month Contract (Structural Heart)

Status: Contract, full time
Search for new Tenders/RFPs
Work closely with Sales Team and Legal, gather all necessary material, prepare submission and send
out to customer
Process new contracts when awarded
Obtain appropriate approvals and process price changes, extensions etc
Run Sales reports and prepare analysis for Sales Team
Track and analyze total sales for each customer and prepare compliancy reports
Create, update and settle rebates
Run price expiry reports
Analyze revenue for compliancy and process rebate payouts that are due to customers
Investigate price discrepancies and take appropriate action
Assist Finance Dept. with any year-end requests.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Organizational and time management skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently;
Strong analytical skills;
Ability to take key actions and demonstrate behavioral anchors that support all Abbott Core Competencies. Fluent in written and spoken English & French.
Familiarity with financial terminology
Knowledge of the tendering process in Canada
Familiarity with the major Canadian hospitals and buying groups
Knowledge of the legal language used in RFPs and Contracts
Education and Required Experience:
3-5 years of experience in similar field
Minimum of 3 years as a contract and tenders specialist
