This role will be known as Lead Operator among colleagues and within the PRO business. Within the broader SCJ organization, the job is graded as Manufacturing II,Mfg,Operations,Production.

Position Overview:

The Lead Operator will, under direction from the Production Supervisor establish good manufacturing practices and safety procedures. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, experience, skill, and/or ability required. Position Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to the following:

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical filling and packaging procedures a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and coach individuals from diverse backgrounds with varying communication and technical skills.
• Basic understanding of cGMP's and regulatory (FDA, OSHA, EPA) requirements.
• Proven ability to drive team productivity, while maintaining high levels of quality, employee engagement, and morale.
• Demonstrated analytical skills with problem-solving and process improvement orientation.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and influence skills.
• Proficient in detailed paperwork.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends, on short notice as required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance

Skills/Qualifications:

• 3+ years of manufacturing and leadership experience a plus
• High School Diploma
