Job Description CVS Clinical Trial Recruitment partners with leading global biopharma clients to deliver qualified patients into ongoing pharmaceutical clinical trials in order to improve and accelerate clinical research for drug and vaccine development. The Lead Analytics Consultant manages key milestones of the multi-year Recruitment and Conduct platform product and product delivery to Pharma sponsors. He/She/They works with leaders in Clinical Trial Services (CTS) to deliver an industry-leading patient recruitment, conduct, and engagement product with patient-centric experience, delivers feasibility and ad hoc analysis results for business development team, runs the interface between the back-end product team and other CTS partners, and provides analytical consultation and data science solutions to Pharma sponsors.
Description: â¢ Applies experience from strategy consulting, analytics, data science and data engineering to successfully act as the product owner for multiple analytics initiatives. Regarded as a specialist with deep content specific knowledge. â¢ Consults with internal and external clients to identify opportunities to implement data science solutions to business problems at an advanced level. â¢ Acts as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions. â¢ Ability to structure data analysis, driving analytics insights and analytical solutions to assist data scientists in determining the best analytical solution. â¢ Understands key drivers of business value and being able to translate into business opportunities and frame them as analytical or data science problems. eg how to grow business? â¢ Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions by knowing appropriate models to suggest to data scientists. â¢ Understands and recommends modeling techniques to data scientists. â¢ Presents recommendations to senior staff, internal, and external clients. Mentors more junior team members. â¢ Shares insights across teams. Reviews work of more junior team members. â¢ Autonomously leads the client relationship. â¢ Leads development of solutions with high complexity and risk. â¢ Consults on the creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and technical tradeoffs using an advanced understanding of business strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics. â¢ Acts as an analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics projects and actions. â¢ Collaborates with business partners to understand their problems and goals, and works with team to develop predictive modeling, statistical analysis, data reports and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications â¢ 4 years of business experience leading analyses and initiatives with track record of business impact and people management â¢ 4+ years of experience managing and owning the delivery of analytics projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment â¢ 4+ years of experience interacting with and influencing decision-making by business audiences to gain alignment around project goals and delivery strategies â¢ 4+ years of experience creating communication materials (e.g., memos, slide decks, etc.) and presenting to technical (data scientists, data engineers) and non-technical (executives, business partners) audiences â¢ 4+ years of experience in SQL working with big data platforms (e.g., HDP, AWS, GCP, etc.) and multiple data sources â¢ 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using any visualization tool such as Tableau or PowerBI â¢ 2+ years of experience directly or indirectly managing junior team members

Preferred Qualifications â¢Strong knowledge of advanced analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources. â¢ Anticipates and prevents problems and roadblocks before they occur. â¢ Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and implications to business partners. â¢ Demonstrates proficiency in most areas of mathematical analysis methods, machine learning, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling and in-depth specialization in some areas.
Education Bachelor's degree in quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience. Master's degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred.
