Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biomedical engineering, pharmaceutics, chemical engineering, materials science) or equivalent with experience in innovative biomedical R&D for global health preferred. Ph.D. highly preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of relevant after-college experience in the biomedical/pharmaceutical/biotech industry or equivalent. Experience in development of medical devices, combination products, implants/injectables or long-acting drug delivery systems is desired. Experience with GLP, cGMP, ISO and ICH guidelines for drug and device products required, experience with FDA IND/IDE submissions and device design history files a plus.
