About Auburn Eye Care Associates
Established in 1975, Auburn Eye Care Associates is a modern, high-tech multilocation eye care practice that serves the Auburn area and Placer County communities. The practice offers a spectrum of vision and medical eye care services, including managing ocular diseases, pre-and post-operative care, and specialty contact lenses. Auburn Eye Care Associates also has an on-site Ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive ophthalmology, the latest techniques in cataract surgery, and LASIK. To help support ongoing practice growth, the business is looking to add an Optometrist to the team of 25 employees to continue and build on its current footprint.
The doctors are committed to providing the best care through extensive training and continue to advance their knowledge and skills to keep up with the newest developments and advancements in eye health and vision care. The practice leverages advanced diagnostic technology, including OCT, Optos Optomap, IOL Master, Topography, B-Scan, AR, FDT, SPARK, YAG laser, and VF. A team of Optometric Technicians efficiently conducts patient workups and pretesting to enable a smooth practice flow, allowing the Optometrists to care for 20 to 30 patients daily. In addition, customers enjoy shopping at the optical boutique that features over 800 high-quality frames--plus, patients will receive personalized attention from the Opticians who assist in selecting the right frames for comfort, functionality, and personal style.
About the Optometrist Opportunity
Auburn Eye Care Associates is seeking a well-rounded, skilled Optometrist who can practice with precision to ensure excellent eye health and vision care for all patients. You'll perform full-scope patient care in a clinical setting 20 to 40 hours a week. The practice is looking for a patient-centric provider with excellent patient communication skills and the ability to develop long-term professional relationships. In addition, the Optometrist must be confident in providing full-scope patient care and co-managing surgical patients. A candidate experienced in medical eye care and disease management will be an asset to the team. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals to expand your skillset and care for special populations and a diverse group of patients. Minimum Qualifications:
- Optometry license in the state of California
- Glaucoma Certified
- Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents Certified
