Overview: Essity North America is currently searching for an experienced Compliance Officer for the US and Canada.  Reporting to the VP for Compliance & Ethics, the Compliance Officer is responsible for implementing and driving the Essity Compliance program independently in its entities in US/Canada.  Furthermore, she or he will be part of the global compliance team and  support the VP for Compliance & Ethics with overarching topics.  The ideal candidate will embody Essity’s values, and will not be afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace.

Experience: The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a similar related field.  JD preferred but not required. Must have medtech/medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry experience with a strong background in healthcare compliance. Minimum of five years of compliance/regulatory experience, including three years of experience as a Compliance Officer in a global enterprise, preferably with a medtech, medical device or pharmaceutical enterprise.          Willingness to travel domestically in North America (US and Canada).

Compensation: A competitive compensation package will be offered for this position, consistent with the candidate’s level of experience.

Location:  This position will be based out of Essity’s Philadelphia, PA or Charlotte, NC office with a combination of in-office and remote work.
