The Finance Director is responsible for translating the affiliate's business strategy into specific financial policies and systems; compile, review, analyze, comment and report financial information, adequately responding to the business needs of the stakeholders and the group in general, in order to ensure that Abbott International Nutrition (ANI) comply with all financial laws and (internal and external) regulations and to contribute to optimize business decisions and strategies.
The position is responsible for managing and leading the supply chain operations, directly directing supply chain processes, championing supply chain initiatives and promoting best practices and strategies. The position ensures the effective implementation and execution of all supply chain functions which include: demand management, inventory management, procurement and logistics, third party manufacturing, building and fleet management. The position is also responsible for spearheading business excellence initiatives to promote process improvement in the company.

Key Areas of Accountability:
The Finance Director is responsible for translating the affiliate's Business Strategy into specific financial policies and systems.
He/She measures the performance of the Subsidiary in strategic, financial and operational KPIs according to Group Standards
He/She recommends or challenges the strategic orientation of the affiliate in order to ensure the most profitable growth of the Business.
Cost/ Investment optimization process
Responsible for the working capital of the affiliate
He/She supports the management in the implementation of Subsidiary internal projects especially: New Product Application, Productivity Plan (organization), information system and acquisition of new products.
Coordination and Supervision
Supervise the local financial processes
Supervise and plan for the availability of products at the Distributor's level
Alignment of corporate processes through proactive and regular contacts with HQ.
Coordinate with reporting process locally and at the HQ's level (Budget, monthly and quarterly reporting) by bringing added- value information and recommendations to the Management.
Collaborate with marketing and sales group to generate best estimates of market demand at a particular point in time
Challenge the feasibility of market demand assumptions to ensure that Historical and current realities such as volume, pricing, target customer and product factors are taken into consideration
Identify gaps and develop strategies to close the gaps that exist between the sales forecast (demand) and the operations plan (supply)
Manage relationships with distributors to ensure that sales targets are met and that stocks are properly allocated.
Directs planning strategies, initiatives and methodologies to optimize inventory levels.
Ensure compliance to product quality and safety standards, policies and procedures and specifications for raw materials, production processes and finished goods inventory.
Manage full monthly supply situation and optimize supply utilization tp ensure that sales targets and customer demands are met.
Lead the development of procurement processes to ensure reliable sources of supply, improve service and quality and reduce cost and supplier lead times.
