Education is a cornerstone of our residency program. We have affiliations with the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy, Touro University College of Pharmacy, UC San Francisco School of Pharmacy, and other professional schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. SCVMC has been affiliated with the Stanford University School of Medicine since 1970.
As public hospitals, we... are an excellent environment for pharmacy residency training. Our health system provides a variety of challenging training opportunities through the provision of a full range of services to a socioeconomically and culturally diverse patient population. The Department of Pharmacy Services is an integral component in providing progressive pharmaceutical care throughout the health system. Pharmacy staff preceptors have extensive teaching experience, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and hold offices in professional organizations.
