ADC is on the cusp of disrupting Blood Glucose Monitoring market with a revolutionary new sensor-based technology that wirelessly transmits glucose results. FreeStyle Libre virtually eliminates the pain and hassle associated with routine blood glucose finger sticks. FreeStyle Libre provides people living with diabetes and the health care professionals that care for them with dense glucose data that the patient and the health care professional can use to identify and treat glycemic control issues (leading to improvements in HbA1c and reduction in hypoglycemic events).
For this exciting and growing division, we are currently looking for Clinical Application Specialist Abbott Diabetes Care Finland. The position is field based and will require travelling in the Southern and Eastern part of Finland covering the area from Helsinki to Pori.
The Clinical Application Specialist Abbott Diabetes Care Finland is responsible for driving the IT implementation for the ADC software solutions, delivering excellent technical professional service, providing expert application knowledge, and expanding ADC business by developing existing customer accounts in the healthcare, E-Health and/or health insurance market.
The major responsibilities of the role are:
Advocate the solutions to all levels in hospitals, specialty clinic, and physician's office including MD's, CIO /IT-staff, nurses and laboratory staff, Insurance Companies or E-Health Providers and Partners.
Supports local teams in performing software-related installation and configuration processes for the ADC software solutions.
Deliver structured software application product training internal and external if required.
Work closely with ADC regional / local sales teams and sales colleagues to develop and profitably grow new and existing customer accounts.
Drive Pre-Sales and support the overall Sales process by assisting in the planning of activities, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to grow ADC market share.
Assist in negotiating, orals and manage contracts.
Develop and implement customer -specific sales and project plans.
YOUR PREFFERRED BACKGOUND
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferable in medical, life science or medical technology
Minimum 3 years working experience in IT Project Management is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years track record in Healthcare sector with an emphasis on customer facing post-sales, IT support is preferred.
IT-Consulting experience preferred.
Understands IT technology within Hospital, Outpatient Care, E-Health and Insurance Environment a must.
Understanding on how technology drives value in healthcare.
Fluent in English.
Excellent IT functional expertise, IT product and industry knowledge in Healthcare and/or Laboratory Medicine.
Good relationship building skills with excellent consulting skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues, excellent problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in cross-functional teams.
