The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences offers a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, MS in Pharmacology, PhD in Pharmacological Sciences, and Doctor of Pharmacy PharmD. The incumbent contributes to the success of all academic programs across the school through providing administrative support. Responsibilities include course scheduling, course support for instructors, course evaluations, and curriculum support. The administrative assistant collects and maintains academic programs data in support of program reviews and assessment. Plans and coordinates student-focused events, workshops, and information sessions across all degree programs, including student recruitment and orientation.
Experience with planning/coordinating events Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Strong skills in short-term planning, time management, and customer service.
Experience in higher education, student, or faculty administrative support. Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
