The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist has advanced knowledge and proficiency in pharmacy practice including pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacotherapeutics. Functions at an advanced level of clinical practice for the (PACT) is responsible for analyzing real and potential drug­ related medical problems and implementing corrective action to ensure that patients receive optimal drug therapy outcomes. Works under their scope of practice defined by the individual medical center.
