Leading a team between 7/10 employees on the shift
Team management: distribution and ordering of tasks. Assign the human resources needed to the different tasks. Rotation of tasks. Vacations and extra hours Management. Organize the team to work on bank holidays.
Incidents management: Resolution and documentation of incidents
Transportation management: receptions/deliveries. Control of the daily planning of receptions, establishing reception priorities. Ensure the preparation and delivery of all the orders generated during the day.
Assistance to Technical Service: process of inputs and outputs of equipment.
Customer Servie Support: incidents, creation of invoices, RMAs (return management).
Stocks/inventory management: DAR (destruction), Cycle counting (daily cyclic inventory), Zero counting (control of empty locations).
Take responsibility and support the Warehouse and Logistics Manager in achieving departmental KPIs and objectives
Manage effective communications with the team to deliver operational targets, issues, briefings are effectively delivered
Create an environment of development and cultivate talent in the department
Ensure all team members are trained and capable to undertake required tasks
Ensure team members are only employed on tasks they are trained to do. Undertake relevant induction training with new members of the team
Start and end shift procedures
Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed on time and with 100% accuracy
Ensure all quality and safety standards are adhered to and championed as necessary
Liaison with couriers, other departments and the Sales force
Be an expert in the departmental processes
Take responsibility for identifying areas of improving and assisting in the implementation of actions relating to these.
Lead and implement projects within the team and cross-functional, to further improve the department, resulting in increasing customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, lower costs and optimized inventory levels
Take responsibility for both your own engagement and also assist in driving engagement in the department. This will include taking a leading role in the Q12 impact plan.
Build and maintain relationships with other Functions while driving leverage opportunities across the areas.
Maintain the quality management system according to ISO 9001.
Maintain environmental management system following ISO 14001.
Supervise the correct segregation of waste in the department, delegate operators implementing the correct segregation.
Ensure all compliance, good practices, procedures and legislation with any activity related to Stryker products are implemented and applied.
Profesional education or higher
High level of english (B2/C1)
MS office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
At least 5 years experience in warehouse or logistics departments, preferably in the medical and / or pharmaceutical sector.
Ideally at least 3 year experience of running a shift or leading a team in a similar environment
