This role will be responsible for multiple components of US Pharma's Controlled Substance Monitoring Program (CSMP) focused on Retail National Accounts (RNA). This includes conducting customer due diligence processes as necessary for compliance to McKesson's CSMP. This will require interaction and partnership with internal teams, report writing and data analysis, and direct reporting to a Director of Regulatory Affairs (DRA) and Sr. Director (SDRA) in the evaluation of findings from these activities. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Manage the standard CSMP due diligence processes to include onboarding, threshold change requests and various reviews for registrants.
Support the DRA/SDRA in due diligence processes.
Review and analyze data regularly to support due diligence efforts and identify/validate controlled substance trends and customer profiles.
Prepare written reports to document reviews and statistical analyses
Engage with account managers and chain customers' Regulatory Affairs/Compliance personnel, as well as internal teams as needed to support CSMP processes.
Drive awareness and communication with Sales and individual Account Managers.
Seek opportunities to improve CSMP operational excellence through people, processes or technology.
Assist Pharma business to manage, negotiate and respond to governmental inspections and any resulting violations, punitive actions or monetary fines.
Provide input and, where required, presentations to internal departments or customer audiences.
4+ years relevant work experience
This role can be remote/virtual in any state in the contiguous US except Colorado
3+ years' experience with responsibility for regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry or regulatory agencies, as well as experience as an effective team player
2+ years' experience working in a highly matrixed environment
Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Ability to travel 30%
A depth of understanding of retail pharmacy operations, controlled substance compliance and diversion control programs
The ability to make strategic, logic-based and educated decisions leveraging data, analysis and information from a variety of sources.
People engagement and relationship building skills
Possess a working knowledge of Federal and State governmental regulations pertaining to controlled substance compliance
Experience with Tableau, SAP and Salesforce
Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in interviewing, superb business writing skills, and excellent attention to detail
Drug Enforcement Administration experience
Controlled substance compliance and pharmaceutical diversion experience
Regulatory Affairs background
Results oriented and energetic
Professional, confident, and possesses high integrity

Four-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
