Shared accountability and responsibility for the physical plant operations of a 440,000+ square foot, highly automated pharmaceutical distribution center which operates 24/7/365.
Sunday-Thursday 6pm-2:30am night shift, flexibility required.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Supervision, development and training of maintenance/janitorial teams to ensure current/cutting edge industrial automation/machinery which includes, OSR, AFrames, robotics, sorters, conveyors, warehouse management systems, CMMS and material handling equipment is up and running as designed for operations.
Supervisory learning responsibility for all safety and security protocols to include working with on-site senior management to ensure strict adherence to same. These include, but are not limited to: OSHA, FDA, DOT, Fire Detection, DEA and PDMA monitoring/compliance.
Supervisory responsibility for all management of building cleanliness and maintenance both internal and external.
Supervisory responsibility of both the maintenance and janitorial staff.
2+ years of experience in facilities.
2+ years of Supervisory experience.
Working/troubleshooting knowledge of PLC logic and warehouse control systems. From relay logic to microprocessor based controls.
Ability to read and comprehend complex electrical, mechanical and automation system prints and have the ability to convey information to facilities team under high pressure situations.
Working knowledge of some/all "trade" categories, including, but not limited to Electrical, Mechanical, Temperature controls systems and HVAC. Typical system knowledge require include power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLC's, UPS systems, air handling units and CRAC units.
Aptitude towards leadership/team building skills which adhere to McKesson's ICARE (Integrity, Customer Centered, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) principals.
Aptitude to organization self as well as other team member activities.
Capacity to learn PC software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), CMMS (Maintenance Connection), Warehouse Control Systems and other automation software.
2-year degree in related field or equivalent in work experience with emphasis on building maintenance and equipment maintenance (pick/pack/ship) with emphasis on warehouse conveyor and automation equipment.
General office demands as well as the ability to meet demands of facilities work which includes lifting/carry items up to 100 pounds and climbing ladders.
