Current Need McKesson is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA.
Position Description This role will report to the Operations Finance Manager and will partner with senior business leaders and their teams by supporting finance processes including the planning, forecasting, and analysis of the distribution network for Medical Surgical, including Warehouse and Transportation functions. The analyst will offer financial expertise, display intellectual curiosity, continuously improve processes and models, and make recommendations that drive financial improvement.
Assist with monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary
Leverage financial systems capabilities in reporting & analytics
Assist with preparation and delivery of monthly financial presentations to business leaders, including executives
Develops and maintains various financial models used to support decision making
Collaborate with business partners and finance teams to improve accuracy of financial forecast
Develop partnerships across multiple levels of the organization
Support annual planning processes including developing and communicating targets, creating budgets, and loading and reconciling data
Assist with other ad-hoc analytics, projects, and requests
Minimum Requirements Typically required 4+ years of relevant experience
Financial analysis experience: budget, forecast, plan, root cause analysis
Experience creating presentations for various leadership levels
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Critical thinking and problem resolution skills
Strong interpersonal skills
High level of Excel proficiency, to include ability to create, manipulate and analyze financial models
Ability to manage multiple tasks and cross-functional projects
Analytical with ability to succinctly summarize data from multiple sources
Proven success in building effective business partnerships at multiple organizational levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills and executive presence
Highly motivated self-starter that is results driven
Demonstrates innate sense of curiosity
Attention to detail, accuracy, reconciling data
Excellent consultative skills to support various stakeholders
Experience with Hyperion Essbase, SmartView, SQL a plus
Education 4-year degree or equivalent experience required, MBA preferred in finance or related field
