We are seeking a Project Manager, MID Business Services to join our team near one of our hub offices Irving, TX or Alpharetta, GA in a work from home role.
The Project Manager will lead a team of specialists dedicated to the implementation of new business and programs for the Medically Integrated Dispensing Team. This includes all setup functions for new business including direct communication with External customers, McKesson Sales people, McKesson Program owners, and Practices. The Project Manager will be responsible for measuring and auditing the entire setup process to ensure we meet or exceed industry best in class standards. Additionally, will lead cross functional teams across the Organization to support the MID Strategic Initiatives.
Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the implementation of new customers or delivery of a program from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers.
Manages Customer Implementation Team.
Provides a single point of contact for Implementation efforts
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, Sales, DC Operations, Master Data and various departments (e.g. marketing, IT, etc.).
Defines project scope and objectives. Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources. Plans and directs project and monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal/external customer on all matters.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans,
and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.
Establishes procedures and processes related process improvement of customer transitions.
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years project management experience
4 + years' experience in management, sales, support, operations, or administration.
Strong attention to quality and detail
Project management and business acumen with the ability to work in a matrix organization
Knowledge working with systems and reporting (Excel, Salesforce, DocuSign, SAP, Connect, Access)
Additional Knowledge and Skills
PMP Certification preferred
Working knowledge of McKesson or pharmaceutical industry
Ability to confidently and professionally communicate with externals customers
An ability to demonstrate initiative, be proactive and work without supervision, in a high stress, fast-paced, 100% quality required environment
Effective communication skills including the ability to effectively interpret between a broad spectrum of clients with different levels of knowledge, expectations or position
Excellent visual and textual communication skills that translate into comprehensive and effective meetings and documents for internal use or distribution to customers
Ability to manage effective meetings; keeping them on track, focused and encouraging active participation
Effective organizational, time-management and follow-up skills
Able to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
Must possess professional demeanor and excellent networking skills; be dedicated to quality and self- improvement
Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value
A fast learner with an innovative and positive approach
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
