The Provider Solutions Specialist will be joining McKesson Canada's fastest growing business unit and will be responsible for all of the activities related to designing the process workflows for new institutional partnerships, assessing market trends, and completing analytic assessments to support the Provider Solutions team's focus on improving the quality of patient care in Canada.
The primary focus of the Provider Solutions team is to identify innovative ways to address gaps in patient care workflows within McKesson's public/private partnerships.
The Provider Solutions Specialist will work with the team and cross-functional networks across McKesson Specialty Health (MSH) to provide the operational and analytical support for the Provider Solutions team to operationalize innovative partnerships. You will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions to provide insights to the business and you will lead efficient operations to enable the Provider Solutions team to accomplish its goals externally.
The incumbent is responsible for defining requirements based on user requests (internal and external) and provides technical expertise, assistance and training to end users throughout the Provider Solutions team. In addition, through building new financial reports, completing core analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and implementing new solutions to improve operations, you will support Provider Solutions growth and profitability. The position will also provide opportunities to streamline current processes and is reporting directly to the Sr. Director. It is expected that you can effectively communicate findings and implications to the broader MSH business, providing insights into therapeutic performance
Aligning and designing institutional workflows that enable the integration of McKesson services within partner institutions
Lead the McKesson team through the operational processes with the partner institutions
Lead project plans, set deadlines and coordinate activities as required across all therapeutic areas
Analyze and communicate insights on financial reports for each therapeutic area of Provider Solutions including monthly, quarterly & annual performance reports/dashboards by therapeutic area
Monitor activity and task management reports (Salesforce)
Working with the analytics team, consolidate reports from MSH business units (pharmacy & INVIVA) and provide insights to business leads across Provider Solutions
Manage and develop (as required) all aspects of consulting agreements, NDA's, legal documentation and financial responsibilities (e.g., PO generation, invoicing) with appropriate internal/external stakeholders
Ability to work closely with Directors and other key stakeholders to communicate project progress
Track and monitor projects issues through resolution during pre and post implementation phases
Manage and monitoring project budget & deliver quarter financial statements
Provide regular project status updates
Monitors efficiency and productivity trends, potential problems, and opportunities proactively
Understand core aspects of the healthcare sector related to business processes and supporting business units
Strong operational knowledge of change management principles within healthcare institutions
Strong knowledge of MS Project, SharePoint, PowerBI, and Visio (not limited too)
Strong business application knowledge (Office 365)

An undergraduate or health care related degree preferred/Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Commerce, Business Intelligence or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role, technical role or within an institutional setting leading change initiatives
Experience in being a Change Agent; Strong problem-solving skills and detail oriented
Highly motivated self-starter capable of operating with minimal supervision
Solid experience in working with and communicating strategies and opportunities to an executive, account management, and business unit operations teams.
3+ years proven success in gathering data for the purpose of delivering analytical solutions
Strong technical skills, with demonstrated experience in data archiving, extraction and reporting software
A professional, confident, and strategic relationship builder
Strong executive presence, ability to deal with senior executives and manage their accounts
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Strategic perspective with an ability to effectively manage the details
Able to plan and lead facilitation sessions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
