McKesson is seeking a Sales Lead Coordinator to join our growing team in Lab Diagnostic Sales! This is an exciting new role and we are seeking someone who is entrepreneurial, hardworking, inquisitive, diligent and passionate about delivering great customer and team experiences.
This person will be responsible for prospecting new laboratory/diagnostic sales opportunities as well as converting inquiries into qualified leads that are passed to the lab sales organization to close. The position requires a high degree of phone usage for inbound and outbound calls, both cold and warm.
This role will be based in either Richmond, VA.
Lead Collection & Research: Prospect for and manage the daily intake of leads from various sources. Research leads using the appropriate internal and external resources & information.
Customer Engagement: Contact and engage with leads to profile, assess interest, and provide information; qualify warm leads for further engagement with the corresponding Lab Sales team. Follow up on any other unassigned leads and customer requests.
Delivery & Reporting: Provide qualified lead information to the corresponding lab sales team. Track lead activity manually and through systems such as Salesforce.com (SFDC). Pull and/or create reports to track leads and effectiveness via spreadsheets or SFDC reports.
Team selling: Collaborate with the overall lab sales team by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Build great relationships with teammates. May perform other duties as assigned.
Typically requires 3+ years of related experience
1+ years of relevant work experience in Sales, Customer Service or Telemarketing
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of internet technology, PC workstation databases and other resources for research
Ability to work flexible shift variations between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday-Friday required to accommodate business needs

Computer platform skills and ability to navigate multiple screens and platforms
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Self-starter and independent
Bachelor's degree or equivalent business knowledge/experience
