McKesson is seeking a Leadership Development Specialist for it's Corporate L&D team. This role can be based in Alpharetta GA, Irving TX or Richmond VA.
The Leadership Development Specialist will be responsible for effectively supporting needs of the Leadership Development function, including maintenance and administration of the LMS, and the delivery of leadership development programs.
Partners with project managers of various content areas to synthesize a single, coherent training schedule and build out the LMS courses and offerings
Tracks enrollment and attendance, reconciles rosters, and communicates as needed to increase participant registration; recommends when courses should be cancelled/rescheduled
Updates scorecard/dashboard; collaborates with Workforce Analytics to manage the monthly reporting process; recommends improvements to measurement strategy ad hoc
Serves as an expert on LMS and makes recommendations on best practices, new functionality, etc
Production Assistance for Virtual Training
Manages the training events; drives the technology aspects of virtual training; light facilitation responsibilities including managing breakout discussions, debriefing polls
Ad hoc Fulfillment (shipping/receiving, printing of leadership development materials)
Responsible for analyzing cost impacts of fulfillment and adjusting printing and ordering plans to optimize spending; Collaborates with vendors as needed
Other tasks and projects as needed (e.g. monitor department inbox, draft communications, support various projects, etc)
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience
2+ years' experience in Learning and Development, HR, training or relevant field
Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products - PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
Previous experience working with a Learning Management System and/or HRIS strongly preferred

Flexible, adaptable and resilient
Excellent planning and organization, and attention to detail
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design and training methodology a plus
Knowledge and experience with instructional authoring tools a plus
Bachelor's degree in related field required
