As part of Ontada's Real World Evidence team, the Research Manager is responsible for the conduct and oversight of hematology/oncology real-world evidence (RWE) studies.
Leads and manages research professionals performing disease management, comparative effectiveness, pharmacoeconomic and health outcomes research (HEOR) for pharmaceutical manufacturers, physicians and organization leadership.
Accountable for the timely and quality delivery of studies.
Maintains departmental processes/procedures, facilitates communication among teams and exemplifies McKesson's ICARE/ILEAD principles.
Coordinates with other managers and other functional areas to achieve organizational goals and objectives, including adherence to and development of best practices.
Collaborates with external customers to support business growth and development activities.
Conducts real world evidence research studies as needed.
Adheres to company Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsible for driving performance and cross functional collaboration to successfully execute high quality studies that exceed customer expectations.

Typical Minimum Requirements
Typically requires 6+ years of relevant Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience
Master's degree in Pharmacy, Public Health, Healthcare Economics, Epidemiology or related clinical discipline
PharmD or Ph.D. preferred
Must be authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position
Experience developing and leading high-performing research teams with multi-functional backgrounds
3-5 years' experience leading RWE study designs and methods, including basic applied statistical methods
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Position requires customer interaction.
Understanding and experience with electronic health records (EHR) and claims data
Healthcare experience and knowledge of Real World data sources required; Oncology and Pharmaceutical/CRO experience strongly preferred
Ability to problem-solve and develop effective solutions within budget and timeline
Solid knowledge of healthcare, safety, regulatory, and compliance processes
Ability to critically analyze and interpret medical and scientific evidence
Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously with multiple timelines and varied deliverables
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Webex/Microsoft Teams
