We work with revenue generating start-ups, small and lower mid-market companies, venture capital and private equity firms typically focusing on transactions in the £500k to £50M range. From our base in London we service clients in the UK and across Europe, USA, Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific.
We have specific industry expertise across a range of sectors including healthcare and medical equipment, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, financial services, fashion and personal goods, retail and wholesale trade and aerospace and automotive.
We are looking for a sales manager, focused on new clients, who can respond to inbound requests the company receives for information, and quotations from small market /lower mid-market companies, VCs and PE firms. The role will be home-based, with occasional travel to Great Portland Street, London once COVID-19 restrictions have lifted.
Respond to requests for proposals from new and existing clients.
Respond to prospective new clients' questions and requests using email, webchat, video calls, and other communication media client uses.
Manage new clients from contact through to contract execution.
Write new client proposals using Adobe InDesign and in-house template. Approve pricing with the management team.
Write new client proposals in text that have been requested through online sales channels.
Manage company price list in MS Excel.
Manage sales pipeline in Hubspot.
Manage products and prices that are on the company website using WordPress.
Work with internal teams to assist in answer prospective client queries and validate pricing as required for proposals.
Work with marketing to ensure website content is SEO optimised, digital ad campaigns are working effectively, and help manage posts for social media channels.
Understand competitors, their offerings and pricing, to be able to recommend changes to pricing and/or offerings.
Key skills required:
2 year+ experience in financial services sales.
Experience of working for corporate finance company beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent numerical skills.
Adequate space with desk/workstation, chair and secure paper filing storage with suitable lighting and heating/cooling to be used for working at home.
Ability to be able to manage time and non-office work distractions whilst working from home. Ability to work on own initiative under time pressure.
