Senior Director, Precision Medicine

Current Need We are seeking a Senior Director of Precision Medicine to join our team in a remote work from home role. Position Description The Sr. Director of Precision Medicine will develop and execute a comprehensive precision medicine program for the entire US Oncology Network, comprised of: clinical initiatives to implement operational standards; leverage innovative technology such as decision support tools and building a database; vet third party lab vendors and prioritize relationships; also to create educational opportunities for community oncologists on appropriate molecular testing. The candidate will be responsible for understanding and managing precision medicine programs to set criteria for success, draft and implement plans to reach them, and address key barriers to adoption. Developing requirements for program management, workflow integration and technology needs will also be essential. This is a leadership role with ownership and accountability of precision medicine for The US Oncology Network and US Oncology Research. This role is looking for a strong program leader who will deliver value to The US Oncology Network by running clinical programs, contributing to strategic planning, support initiatives lead by McKesson's data business and actively contribute to the evolving precision medicine strategy. Lastly, this role also manages vendor relationships (such as lab vendors) and work in partnership with internal McKesson teams who will also support the program such as the technology team leading the EMR solution, and US Oncology Research. Close collaboration with key stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment is key to program success. Key Responsibilities: Precision Medicine content development and technology alignment
Adoption management and execution
Research Alignment: Support research, pharmaceutical and lab partners in efforts to collaborate on molecular testing education and research programs for targeted drug therapy
Leadership and managerial oversight
Minimum Requirements 13+ years of professional experience and 6+ years of diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills (or equivalent experience). Critical Skills:

Education 4-year degree of equivalent experience Physical Requirements General office demands. Travel Travel up to 30% to client sites, business partners and internal meetings.
