Current Need

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team in Irving, TX.

Position Description

The Systems Engineer will help build and maintain the Cloud environment used to support the applications used by our business groups. We are looking for a System Engineer that has experience with commercial software deployment. This work involves creating and maintaining build/release pipelines as well as creating and monitoring cloud components (storage accounts, virtual machines, application service environments, etc.) The System Engineers work closely with our Development teams to handles UAT and Production code deployments as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy application code to UAT and Production environments
• Create release pipelines to support code deployments
• Manage security requests (add/modify/remove user permissions)
• Build/Monitor Cloud Infrastructure components (Storage Accounts, Azure App Service Environments, Virtual Machines)
• Vulnerability management - patch and maintain virtual machines and 3rd party components

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

• 3+ years' experience building cloud solutions and supporting cloud applications
• 3+ years' experience creating/managing build/release pipelines
• 3+ years strong customer service orientation working supporting end users
• 3+ years' experience administering Windows Server Virtual Machines in a Cloud environment
• 3+ years' experience deploying web applications in a Cloud environment
• 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Azure fabric components
• 3+ years' experience configuring and supporting Cloud network environments

Additional Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
• Experience with SFTP servers
• Experience with Powershell and other scripting languages
• Prior experience working in a team environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
