Current Need

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team in Irving, TX.

Position Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst, North American Finance Shared Services FP&A, will assist with value capture activities related to McKesson's enterprise wide strategic initiatives. This position will be responsible for coordinating with multiple project teams, both in North America and Europe to capture all relevant financial inputs that align with McKesson's transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and manage business cases related to enterprise wide initiatives
• Consolidate business case financials from inputs received both in North America and Europe
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for CFO and senior executive reviews
• Partner with project management teams to understand timelines and variances to forecasts
• Create ad-hoc scenario models based on exception processing and timing differentials
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

• 3+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience
• Experience analyzing financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
• Mastery of financial return measures such as NPV and IRR
• Proficiency creating and analyzing large amounts of data
• Experience building and maintaining financial models;
• Intermediate to advanced level on MS Excel and Power Point
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of US GAAP principles and internal controls
• Must have strong ERP / Accounting system (SAP, JDE, Oracle, Hyperion Planning) experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of staff up to executive level management

Additional Knowledge and Skills

• Data mining experience highly preferred
• MS Access / SQL or other database experience
• Proficiency with Hyperion Planning preferred
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects
• Must be flexible and thrive in a fast pace environment
• Exceptional attention to detail

Education

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
