We are seeking an eCommerce Senior Product Manager, Customer Portal and User Administration to join our team in our Irving, TX location.
The eCommerce Senior Product Manager for Customer Portal and User Administration has product management responsibility for the customer portal, communication/content, and identity and access management areas for McKesson's customer portal, McKesson Connect. McKesson Connect comprises both extremely high-volume transactional services, as well as finely-targeted communications and information resources for McKesson customers.
This role will be responsible for overall portal online user experience, navigation, and portal information architecture. That includes technical product management for the identity management, content management, and social business (Community) components of the site. The content itself and community management will be handled by other marketing teams, but of course require coordination with those teams, as needed. The role will also require interaction with other marketing product management personnel, customers, vendors, and other internal McKesson stakeholders.
This Product Manager role is responsible for maintaining the portal's roadmap for enhancement/improvement, driving the greatest differentiated value for customers and McKesson, and measuring and analyzing that delivered value. That includes gathering customer inputs and needs relative to new development opportunities, researching options or approaches to solving problems or delivering value, playing a liaison role with support and sales on our various product offerings, and demonstrating and communicating the value of our offerings and changes to those offerings.
Drive overall customer experience in McKesson Pharmaceutical's customer portal - information architecture, navigation, usability, standards compliance.
Product management for content management, Community, and identity / access management: strategy, technology roadmaps, business plans, user research and communication, funnel management, release planning, extensive integration and interaction with business and technology groups.
Interacting with development personnel to help shape and drive delivery of functional capabilities to meet market needs
Coordinate with other product managers responsible for transactional and other areas within the portal to ensure optimal and consistent customer experience and technology
Work with sales management and field sales to optimize the value the portal can bring to sales and account management
Working with support personnel to identify trends and feed prioritization detail back into our product development funnels
Understand broad technical capabilities in the market relative to portal, digital communications, Community, and identity administration, assessing potential and leveraging appropriately
Keep abreast of competitive content strategies, primarily within healthcare distribution but also analogous industries
Helping craft communications for sales and customers relating to our product offerings and development efforts and the differentiated value being delivered by our solutions
Develop marketing and training plans and activities to establish, enhance, reinforce and distinguish product within the market and internal and external stakeholders
Measure utilization, effectiveness, and value to customers and McKesson
7+ years of relevant experience
5+ years diverse experience to include product or program analysis and/or requirements design in a web-based systems development environment
5+ years' experience with direct customer interactions, including, but not limited to, sales support, strategy and operational enhancements
5+ years' experience working directly with IT (software development, data engineering), including direct experience translating end user/business requirements to product development team
5+ years' experience collaborating with Marketing, Operations, Product Development, Strategy, Consulting or other related function
5+ years' experience with Enterprise Content Management Systems implementations
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
Experience in health systems from a business, operational or clinical perspective
Strong working knowledge of PI Planning management and related activities
Strong networking and influencing skills, especially in terms of navigating the McKesson organization to coordinate across a large and varied set of stakeholders
Ability to quickly develop understanding of new products/services and drive adoption using data and analytics to support decision making
Strong attention to detail - systematic and strategic thinker who can anticipate long term implications and challenges
4-year degree or equivalent experience
General office demands
