The strategic pricing analyst utilizes analytics to advance initiatives and projects that drive profit growth. Through these analytics, the strategic pricing analyst identifies market and competitive trends that drive insight and inform decision making for the MRxTS strategic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate complex data into actionable strategies to improve pricing decisions.

• Assess pricing data from a variety of sources to derive insights into market and competitive trends.

• Develop strategies to monitor market trends and to take advantage of identified market opportunities.

• Utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to identify pricing strategies for MRxTS product offerings.

• Communicate with and influence senior executives on business pricing decisions.

• Utilize data analytics to develop dynamic pricing tools that allow MRxTS to quickly adjust pricing as appropriate.

• Develop tools that streamline the analysis process and provide meaningful insights for pricing decision making.

Typical Minimum Requirements:

• 4+ years of Pricing, Finance, or Business analytics experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

Critical Skills

• Excellent Financial modeling skills including profitability modeling

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make recommendations

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and data analytics tools (Tableau, Cognos, etc.)

• Excellent deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills including the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance business partners

• Demonstrated progression in responsibilities in current or prior roles

Additional Skills

• Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines

• Comfort working with complex and unstructured data

• Must be a team player, self-starter and able to work under general direction

• Business Warehouse (BW), SAP and Salesforce.com experience desired
