The Hospital, Customer Service Specialist provide courteous, quality service to retail pharmacies located throughout Canada. As a Hospital Customer Service Specialist, you are the first point of contact and play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a positive experience with McKesson Canada. You will be responsible for building rapport and assisting customers with their product orders, answering questions and providing prompt resolution to any potential concerns.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
High level of phone confidence & professionalism in all modes of communication with our Manufacturers and internal or external customers in both French and English
Mentoring and supporting the Customer Service team as needed including develop solutions to complex issues that the team needs assistance with both from the Manufacturer and the Customer.
Organizational/prioritization skills are required to be able to work in a multitasking environment
Ability to embrace continuous learning and customer service expectations in an environment that is constantly changing
Work with Senior internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve specific end-customer requirements/ issues
Processing Manufacturer and customer orders as needed
Accurately handle French and English based customer service requests as the initial point of contact, utilizing multiple administrative systems within the defined service standards
Perform other duties as required by the Customer Service Manager
In its job functions, responsible for implementing the highest standard of Quality & Compliance across all operational processes, and enforcing Regulatory and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required by Health Canada and as required by acting on behalf of the manufacturers
Ability to manage multiple levels from low to high priority tasks ensuring all deadlines is met
Learning style that can adapt quickly to meet the needs of the business
Commitment to achieve high levels of service excellence and ability to work independently or within a team
Experience with Word, Excel, Salesforce CRM and IBM's AS/400 is an asset along with keyboarding skills
Meet and exceed Key metrics set out for this role
Minimum 5 years of customer service experience
Must be Bilingual (French and English)
Proven track record of incorporating the McKesson Canada ILEAD leadership behaviors into their everyday work
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
College diploma/ certification or equivalent work experience in a related field
Strong computer skills; including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Windows and database management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
As required, participate in Client meetings as the Hospital, Customer Service expert
Ability and willingness to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals, as well as the ability to work well independently with little or no supervision
Ability to quickly assess situation, identify root causes of issues, generate multiple solutions, make sound decisions, and effectively communicate at multiple organization and functional levels at both the company and at its distributors
Experience in a pharmaceutical industry or Hospital is preferred
