Experienced Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) or Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

IntimMedicine Specialists is a private practice and independent investigative research site, conducting pharmaceutical and medical device sponsored clinical trials. These include endometriosis, uterine fibroids, urinary incontinence, contraception, and sexual dysfunction, etc. The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) manages clinical trials and works directly with the Principal Investigator (PI) and sub-investigators to provide the highest quality care to all research subjects. The CRC works closely with the sponsor’s clinical research associates (CRAs) to ensure seamless execution of all clinical trials. The CRC’s responsibilities include:
Recruit study participants by reviewing protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria
Perform protocol activities such as reviewing informed consents, obtaining patient medical histories, taking vital signs, and assisting clinicians with physical and ultrasound exams, while ensuring patient safety
Study patient chart organization, data entry (i.e. electronic case report forms)
Work with PI to formulate and assess clinical trial budgets
Process lab specimens in accordance with IATA and OSHA procedures
As time permits, work with the clinical team to assist with general office responsibilities including answering phones, managing patient schedules, processing labs, assisting doctors and physician assistants, creating PowerPoint presentations, and completing smaller intramurally funded research
Bachelor’s degree in a science field, or other related discipline
Previous clinical experience (shadowing, work, volunteer, etc.) and understanding of medical terminology
Significant previous contract research experience required
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Candidate must be self-motivated, organized, a team player, and able to multitask and prioritize
Phlebotomy experience a plus, but not required
Salary commensurate with experience
