The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Experimental Therapeutics at the College of Pharmacy, University of Iowa has an opening for a full-time postdoctoral scholar in the laboratory of Dr. Reza Nejadnik. We are seeking a highly motivated and an independent postdoctoral scholar, with training and expertise in the field of protein pharmaceuticals. The research projects provide opportunities to have major, positive impacts on human medicine by investigating the causes and mechanisms of aggregation and particle formation in therapeutic proteins. This position will offer numerous opportunities for the right candidate to hone their experimental, project management and scientific writing skills, by working closely with the PI on setting up the lab and working on grants and manuscripts. Additionally, the postdoctoral scholar's expertise will be strongly enhanced in the general areas of formulation and delivery science, pharmaceutical biotechnology and drug development.
