Position Title: Postdoctoral Associate, Pharmacy Posting Number: R2100019 Employer: Research Foundation Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 FTE: 1.00 Position Summary: The School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking for an eager and enthusiastic Postdoctoral Associate with a background in microbiology and clinical-translational science. Our lab is a clinical-translational infectious diseases lab working to combat extensively and pan-resistant bacterial superbugs through use of traditional 'wet bench' science, mathematical models, and human data. We are committed to the development of our team members through training, opportunities for authorship at international conferences and highly impactful journals, and other research opportunities. In addition, we work in a highly collaborative environment working on clinical studies implementing key PK/PD methods for the treatment, prevention, and hopeful cure of HIV. Applicants should be self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast, high throughput laboratory. Experience with designing, executing, and analyzing in vitro or in vivo models of bacterial infection models is preferred. Individuals with experience with both viral and bacterial methodologies will be strongly considered, especially experience with bacteriophages. Experience with flow cytometry or LC-MS/MS is a plus, but not required. Additionally, experience with (or a willingness to learn) PK/PD analytical methodologies will be an asset.
