The Department of Clinical Pharmacy Practice, in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, seeks part-time, non-tenured faculty member(s) to teach the Law and Ethics course within the PharmD program. Faculty member(s) will introduce State of California and Federal legal requirements that would impact the practice of pharmacy, while emphasizing the legal and ethical principles applied by pharmacists in their daily decision-making. The faculty member(s) will also be involved with other student activities including projects supervision.
Candidates at the assistant, associate or full professor rank will be considered.
Candidates are required to have previous experience teaching these courses and/or similar courses in the University of California system and/or an equivalent higher education setting. The minimum requirements are a PharmD degree, licensed as a pharmacist in the State of California as well as relevant teaching experience.
Salary is commensurate with experience and at varying percentages of time, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
