Position Summary: The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy is recognized on all levels, local, state, national, and international, as providing one of the most challenging, dynamic, and satisfying programs of study leading to the Doctor of Pharmacy degree. In concert with supportive faculty and staff, students at the School build a foundation for learning that continues long after graduation. The mission of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration is to guide and develop the next generation of pharmacists in the practice of patient-centered, population-based pharmaceutical care in a multitude of settings. The Department is committed to the ethical and professional growth of pharmacy students and strives to graduate lifelong learners with the skills to lead and adapt in a dynamic healthcare system. This mission supports the overall mission of the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in four critical areas: teaching, practice, scholarship, and service. Minimum Education and Experience: Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and must have completed at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BCPS), or other relevant board certification, is expected within two years of hire.
