Introduction:

North Dakota State University is seeking an innovative, collaborative, and results-oriented leader for the position of Director of Undergraduate Admission. The Director will lead an enthusiastic and professional admissions team and collaborate extensively with campus entities in reaching NDSU’s campus-wide undergraduate enrollment goals. The position reports to the Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and is responsible for the leadership and management of the Office of Undergraduate Admission including both recruitment and admission.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include supervision of office staff (27 FTE); development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of undergraduate students in existing and emerging markets; oversight of application processing and communication with applicants; implementation of new student scholarship strategy and awarding process; management of operating and scholarship budgets; and implementation of existing and emerging technologies to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of the office. In addition, the director represents the Office of Admission on university, regional and national committees and professional organizations.
