Wake Forest Baptist Health PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residecy
Wake Forest Baptist Health offers a one year PGY1 community-based pharmacy residency that is designed to provide a broad range of ambulatory experiences in a progressive environment committed to pharmaceutical care and education. Residents will train in a variety of block and longitudinal learning experiences in an environment committed to academic excellence, compassion, and leadership. Practicing community pharmacy in the academic medical center environment affords opportunities in teaching, precepting, pubic speaking and research. Residents will care for patients in areas such as community pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, population health and ambulatory care all precepted by experienced and board certified pharmacy practitioners. A teaching certification is available. Equally important to the outstanding clinical experience is the supportive and family environment created by the team members at WFBH. Three positions are available each year.
