The Christ Hospital is a 555-bed Community Teaching Hospital located in Cincinnati, Ohio. At the Christ Hospital, you will encounter a residency experience that is individualized and structured around you. Our preceptors are dedicated clinicians with an enthusiasm for residency training. You will be challenged to strengthen your clinical knowledge and polish your skills in research, leadership, communication, and time management at Greater Cincinnati's Heart Hospital, one of the Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospitals in the nation. Our awards and achievements include Advanced Heart Failure Certification from The Joint Commission, The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for the Mechanical Heart Assist Device Program, and The American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline® Bronze Referring Quality Achievement Award for timely care and successful heart attack outcomes. Number of PGY2 Cardiology Resident Positions: 1 Required Rotations: Orientation (1 month), Research (1 month), Clinical Cardiology (2 months), Heart Failure/LVAD (2 months), CV ICU (2 months) Elective Rotations: Anticoagulation, Cardiac Cath Lab, non-ICU Cardiovascular Surgery, Electrophysiology, Outpatient Cardiology, Emergency Department, Infectious Diseases, Medical ICU, and Palliative Care. Some of our elective rotations can be done as 2-week or 1 month experiences based on resident preference. Longitudinal Rotations: Research, Pharmacy Services (Staffing), Medical Emergencies/ACLS, and Education/Practice Management Teaching Opportunities:
