HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center is a 266-bed non-profit Level I trauma center located in Phoenix, AZ. Additionally, the facility is an accredited Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and is Magnet accredited by the ANCC. The hospital has existed in one form or another since the establishment of the Desert Mission in 1927. HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center became a community teaching hospital in 2014 with the beginning of a surgical residency program.

The HonorHealth John C. Lincoln Medical Center PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program will build on Doctor of Pharmacy education in order to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists, responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for post-graduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. Pharmacists completing the PGY1 Residency Program will be able to integrate pharmaceutical care as a component of the total care and management of patients requiring drug therapy in multiple environments. They will be accountable for achieving optimal drug therapy outcomes as members of the health care team. Pharmacy Residents will have the ability and skills to educate patients and healthcare professionals on drug-related topics, advance practice, and improve patient care. They will demonstrate leadership skills and professional maturity by following a personal philosophy of practice, monitoring their own performance, exhibiting commitment to the profession, and exercising leadership in improving the safety of the medication-use system.
