PGY1 Pharmacy Residency The Union Hospital Post-graduate Year One Pharmacy Residency is a one-year, hospital-based pharmacy practice residency program offering two positions for pharmacy postgraduates. Our program is committed to providing residents with the experience and knowledge needed to become skilled practitioners. Upon completion of the program, the residents will be prepared to educate patients, students, and other healthcare professionals, as well as develop professionally in various areas of pharmaceutical care. The resident will also demonstrate leadership and communication skills that will be essential to his or her success in future endeavors. Available Rotations:

PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency The purpose of the PGY2 EM Pharmacy Residency is to build on Doctor of Pharmacy education and PGY1 pharmacy residency program experience to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in the specialized area of Emergency Medicine. The PGY2 EM pharmacy residency will provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care. Residents who successfully complete the PGY2 EM pharmacy residency are prepared for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized EM position. Available Rotations
