The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring pharmacy practice and services at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. The Pharmacy Manager will work together with other hospital clinicians to define and develop clinical practice as it relates to pharmacy and the improvement of patient care. Collaboration with other department managers to develop and implement new pharmacy services will ensure the integration of pharmaceutical care throughout the hospital. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency and/or advanced degree is required. Experience in development of new clinical systems, innovative use of pharmacy extenders and improvement initiatives in the areas of clinical and operational pharmacy practice is required.
BS or Pharm. D. degree received from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy is required. Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience or completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency and/or advanced degree is required.

Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin is home to an established and large pharmacy residency program. PGY1 positions are available in acute care focus (12 residents), ambulatory care focus (4 residents), PGY1/PGY2 Health-system Pharmacy and Leadership (4 residents), and PGY1/PGY2 Medication Use Safety and Policy (1 resident). Additionally two PGY1 resident positions are available at Froedtert Menomonee Falls, one of Froedtert's affiliated community hospitals.
PGY2 positions are available in a variety of specialties including ambulatory care (2 residents), critical care (2 residents), emergency medicine (2 residents), infectious diseases (2 residents), medication use safety and policy (2 residents) oncology (2 residents), and pharmacy informatics (1 resident).
