Parkview Regional Medical Center (PRMC) is accepting applications for a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident. 

Position Details:

Parkview offers a 12-month American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Accredited PGY2 ambulatory care residency for one residency candidate. Parkview’s PGY2 ambulatory care residency is designed to develop the resident into an independent, competent, confident and compassionate practitioner with the ability to provide excellent patient care in the ambulatory setting. This resident will develop a core skill set in chronic disease state management, patient interaction, communication, practice management, team building and time management. Key learning experiences in diabetes and cardiovascular risk reduction, anticoagulation, and heart failure clinic provide the resident with a solid foundation in ambulatory care. A variety of elective rotations allow the residency experience to be tailored to meet the resident’s interests. The program will assist residents in developing their precepting skills and will integrate precepting into various learning experiences.
