Moses Taylor Hospital PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is open to any individual regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, or handicap. All completed applications turned in by the application deadline will be competitively considered for an onsite interview. No candidate will be ranked without an onsite interview. The minimum requirements to receive consideration for an onsite interview are listed below. Meeting these criteria does not guarantee acceptance.
Candidate must: Possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school or college of pharmacy; or a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. degree and equivalent experience and be eligible for PA licensure examination within 1 month of the intended residency start date. Be able to commit to the residency for a period of no less than one year. Be enrolled in the ASHP Residency Matching Program, unless the program is unsuccessful in matching for a particular year. About Commonwealth Health Systems- Moses Taylor Hospital
Moses Taylor Hospital is a community teaching hospital located in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It
is part of the Commonwealth Health network, and affiliated with The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education. MTH services include medical, general surgery, 12 bed ICU, oncology/infusion center, inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit, and has received Advanced Certification as aPrimary Stroke Center. MTH is a Certified Perinatal Care Center and is the largest provider of obstetrical services in the region, including a 15 bed state of the art NICU. MTH is also a Pediatric Center of Excellence, staffed by pediatric hospitalists through an agreement with Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital.
