Pharmacists successfully completing a PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Residency at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota will be proficient practitioners providing advanced pharmaceutical care to transplant patients. Required clinical learning experiences include: Orientation, Heart Transplant, Lung Transplant, Kidney/Pancreas Transplant, Liver Transplant, Research/QI, and Transplant Ambulatory Care. Longitudinal experiences in Histology/Pathology, Pediatric Transplant, Vascular Composite Allograft Transplant, Leadership and Professional Development are included. A host of elective experiences are available, each tailored to the residents interests. Research project and online staffing required.
