The Product Integration Coordinator is responsible for managing physician preference item (PPI) categories across multiple service lines within the Clinergy member portfolio. The position requires the ability to develop physician relationships and manage physician led panels for contract categories in order to drive vendor awards and govern new technology introduction throughout the contracting cycle. The clinical integration coordinator will develop relationships with physicians, OR staff and administration, educate them on the specifics of each individual contract, serve as the clinical expert in assigned contract categories. Collaborates with the sales staff to help drive penetration at member hospitals, and driving monthly compliance at each facility.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with industry and physician thought leaders to learn and thoroughly understand all the categories, procedures, and products used in your assigned area of expertise
Develops and manages physician panel members for each contract category to help drive decision making and help hospitals reach savings goals
Builds relationships with physicians, clinical staff members, and executives to manage a broad array of contract categories within assigned service line
Drives monthly compliance at each affiliated hospital account and implementing corrective actions plans for hospitals that are out of compliance
Monitors proactively compliance at each hospital by implementing a structured process for physicians to utilize off contract vendors
Works with the sales team on a weekly basis to help drive penetration into the market with your assigned contract categories
Works with the vendor community to help resolve any product request issues by ensuring that selected vendors are providing the appropriate training and support to each affiliate hospital account
Works with physicians, OR staff and value analysis team on new product requests for your assigned contract categories
Supports clinical contracting across a broad based group of contract categories to reach savings goals by facilitating clinician involvement in decision making
Meets with senior leadership throughout affiliated hospitals to discuss conversion and/or implementation plans, financial impact, as well as clinical perspective
Develops routing plan/call schedule to maintain high touchpoint with physician members, clinical staff and executive suite.
Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Management or Healthcare related field.
5 - 10 years of experience in healthcare industry.
5 - 7 years of experience in specialty pharmaceutical sales or 1-3 years of medical device sales.
50-75% travel throughout the region to work with Clinergy GPO Affiliate Members.
Overnight travel 10-20%
