MCPHS is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty in the School of Pharmacy.Responsibilities:The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Worcester campus of the School of Pharmacy (Worcester/Manchester) is seeking adjunct faculty for the Fall 2020, Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 semester to provide assistance in the laboratory sections of the Pharmaceutics course and optionally assist with exam proctoring within the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. Work with University faculty to provide guidance and assistance to students in the formulation of assigned pharmacy preparations Participate in the grading of student preparations and lab reports Prepare and replenish chemicals and other laboratory consumable supplies Additional opportunities to assist faculty with the proctoring of exams (either remote electronically or in-personQualifications:Required: A bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a Pharm.D Previous teaching experience and familiarity with the laboratory assignments Working knowledge of performing pharmacy calculations in a Pharmaceutics laboratory course Ability to use a computerPhysical requirements: Ability to be on-site in the laboratory during the entire laboratory session as well as ahead of time for laboratory preparations and afterwards for laboratory clean-up Ability to stand and walk around laboratory to monitor studentsApplyTo apply, please visit www.mcphs.edu/careers.
