The Commercial Leadership Development Program, contributes to the development and execution of commercial operations to maximize the value of AstraZeneca's portfolio pipeline. The program includes building critical business acumen by working across multiple Commercial Functions to include – Marketing, Market Acess, Sales and/or International. But most importantly, the Commercial Leadership Development Program is tasked with bringing in top MBA diverse talent to help grow our pipeline for future lglobal eadership opportunities.
Program participants will embark on a three-year rotational program that combines hands-on experience with unparalleled networking opportunities designed to accelerate career development. Each program participant will rotate through different commercial functions, in order to build broad commercial acumen and business perspective. As part of the program, participatns have the option to do either a field sales rotation or an international rotation as part of the program. The program is based at our BioPharmaceutical Global Headquarters in Wilmington, DE.
Experience with working in the Pharmaceutical industry, Marketing and/or Sales
Understanding of marketing and/or market access landscape and experience with secondary analysis
Experience in managed markets internal and external, information sources includingsales data reporting analysis and customer targeting strategies/method
Analytical skills including problem solving, forecasting, contract development and financial modelling (preferred).
MBA Graduation dates: December, 2020 -June 2021, pursuing a career in Healthcare Management or Marketing a plus but not required
Demonstrated academic achievement and Leadership opportunities
Work experience prior to pursuing MBA (2 – 6 years max)
Ability to relocate as needed during the program
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven learning agility
