Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Supervisor with us:
You will take a leadership role to develop and maintain state-of -the-art clinical and operational pharmacy services within assigned team.
You will be responsible for the oversight of staffing for team, staff education and development of clinical activities of the assigned team.
You will interpret medication orders and transcribes to computerized patient medication profiles, timely and accurately
Your role will assist the Pharmacy Manager by providing leadership through planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the pharmaceutical care provided for patients.
You will be accountable for developing staff to enhance patient experiences and in-room processing for pharmacists, including medication history and reconciliation.
Your role will serve on hospital committees as directed and represent the Pharmacy Department accordingly.
Here are the requirements for the position:
Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Kansas
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through American Heart Assoc. or American Red Cross - Healthcare Provider CPR)
Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD)
Pharmacy residency (PGY1) plus 3 years of experience or Pharmacy residency (PGY1) plus Specialty residency training (PGY2) plus 1 year of experience or 5 years of experience
Board Certified as Pharmacotherapy Specialist or other recognized specialty practice area is preferred
Registered as a preceptor with the Kansas Board of Pharmacy is preferred
