The Majumdar lab is currently seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows in Medicinal Chemistry and/or Pharmacology to work in our laboratory at the Center for Clinical Pharmacology, a collaboration between Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis - Department of Anesthesiology and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy,
The position will assist with structure-based design and structure function studies of opioid receptor probes targeting disease areas of pain, alcoholism, and cocaine addiction (see www.majumdarchemneuro.com). The position is currently funded by grants from National Institute of Drug Abuse and National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and presents outstanding opportunities to collaborate in broad areas of Neuroscience and Pharmacology within the group as well with other faculty members at Washington University Department of Anesthesiology.
Do you have?
Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry or pharmacology is preferred.
Research experience, including experience in natural products chemistry or pharmacology is an advantage.
Interest in running biochemical assays and mice behavioral assays.
Interest in collaborating with world renowned neuroscientists and pharmacologists.
