Apostdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. JianxiongJiang at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy,University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) in Memphis, TN. Theindividual will work in the field of neuropharmacology and investigate theneuroinflammatory processes that are associated with epilepsies caused bystatus epilepticus or malignant glioma. The research will elucidate the molecularmechanisms whereby normal brains are transformed to generate epileptic seizures(i.e., acquired epileptogenesis) using pharmacological and genetic strategies.
