The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health seeks a Short Term Casual to assist in analyzing data from a new partnership between the Department of Epidemiology and Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, a large Japanese pharmaceutical company. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and research team, the incumbent will be responsible for data analysis, and participation in manuscript and proposal preparation. The incumbent will also assist the Principal Investigators and research team in manuscript preparation and presentation of materials for conferences and lectures. S/he will perform other related duties as assigned. This is a part time position.
Data management and analysis, 85%
Create presentations of results and supporting material for scholarly presentations and papers, grant proposals and ongoing research meetings, 10%
Perform other related duties as assigned, 5%
Requires a bachelor's degree.
Must have experience with statistical software and data analysis. Must be detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy at all times.
Receiving their master's or doctoral degree in biostatistics or epidemiology or have a doctoral degree.
