Specialist Shoichet lab/ Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco
The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is now recruiting for a Specialist at the Full rank in the Shoichet lab. The job duties will include conducting novel small molecule aggregation analysis using dynamic light scattering and enzyme assays in drug discovery, studying colloidal formation and its effect in early chemical biology and drug discovery, crystallography-quality protein purification and site-directed mutagenesis, protein-ligand binding analysis by isothermal titration calorimetry, DSF, etc., small molecule drug formulation design and optimization for animal studies, and training students, maintaining lab equipment, supplies, safety & sustainability.
Specialists appointed at the Full rank must possess a terminal degree (or equivalent degree) or ten or more years of research experience.
